We are working with a client to find an experienced
Project Manager
to lead the delivery of a critical
water treatment infrastructure project
in Sydney, with a strong focus on
PFAS remediation
. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact environmental project that supports sustainable water management and public health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of water treatment projects with a focus on PFAS remediation.
- Manage project scope, budget (ranging from $1M to $30M), schedule, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, particularly around PFAS handling and disposal.
- Provide technical input and strategic direction on PFAS treatment technologies and methodologies.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within the water infrastructure or environmental remediation sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing PFAS-related projects or similar environmental contamination remediation.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and regulatory frameworks in Australia.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technically savvy with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Trade background or engineering qualifications welcomed - no specific degree required.
- Comfortable working in a structured, hands-on environment with close oversight.
