We are currently working with a major Queensland Government Department to appoint a Project Support Officer (AO3 level) in their North Coast Region. 

This business unit is responsible for the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements of the Natural Disaster Program. 

Your new role

  • Assessment and data entry of submissions and images using electronic data management systems
  • Populate basic spreadsheets and statistical reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and the wider team
  • Reporting to the Project Manager

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Queensland Government
  • Have system knowledge in electronic document management systems (EDMS) and similar platforms such as SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and high attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a Criminal History Check
  • Valid working rights for Queensland, Australia

What's in it for you

  • $ $54.81 per Hour + Superannuation
  • Initial contract to December 2025, with potential extensions

  • 38 hours per week (between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday)
