Public Sector People are currently recruiting for an AO3 Administration Support Officer to join a High Profile State Gov Department in the Gold Coast. Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join this busy department who will be responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks, with a focus in privacy, and looking over documents to make sure they are compliant.
**Duties will include**:
- Provide administrative support to the Privacy and Right to Information Legal Services Department
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
- Handle inquiries from clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings and appointments for the team
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and information security requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Strong administrative skills, with experience in a similar role
- Legal background would be ideal as this would make the role alot more enjoyable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of privacy and right to information legislation would be an advantage
