The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Admin Assistant to join our dynamic Product Team. Reporting to the Buying Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Buyers to curate an unbeatable collection for our customers. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion and a desire to build a career in buying.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with raising purchase orders and performing data entry tasks.
  • Conducting trend and competitor research to support the Product Team.
  • Compiling and maintaining sales reports.
  • Communicating with and building strong relationships with our suppliers.
  • Collating data related to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
  • Supporting the Buyers with general administrative tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A detailed understanding of the Universal Store customer and our product offering.
  • A strong awareness of current market trends.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a drive for achievement.

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Buying, Fashion, or Business.
  • A technical understanding of garment construction and textiles.
