DEMEX is recognised as one of Australia's most innovative and trusted demolition companies, and we're looking for a driven
Demolition Estimator
to play a key role in our continued growth. You'll be at the forefront of pricing some of the most interesting and complex demolition, remediation, and civil projects across Australia.

Based at our HQ in Yatala, QLD (with hybrid or remote flexibility for the right candidate), this is a chance to step into a role that combines challenge, variety, and impact, within a supportive and ambitious team.

What You'll Be Doing:


• Reviewing and assessing exciting demolition tender opportunities.


• Attending site meetings to gather key project insights.


• Interpreting tender documentation and developing accurate, competitive cost estimates.


• Preparing and submitting high-quality tenders, pricing schedules, and non-price submissions.


• Presenting risks and opportunities during bid reviews.


• Clearly detailing inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.


• Supporting pre-award negotiations and smooth project programing, staging and handovers to our delivery team.

What We're Looking For:


• Proven experience preparing and managing successful tenders.


• Demonstrated understanding of demolition, remedial and civil projects across multiple sectors - including but not limited to, construction, mining, offshore, environmental.


• Strong time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.


• Advanced application and ability to enhance performance of estimating systems and MS Office Suite to improve departmental efficiencies.


• A collaborative approach, thriving in a fast-paced team environment.


• Excellent communication skills to build confidence with clients and colleagues.


• A valid Driver's License.

Highly regarded (but not essential):


• Demolition and/or HAZMAT estimating experience.


• Experience with project programming or 3D modelling.
