Plumbing Estimator – Tier 1 Projects (Melbourne, VIC)

We are seeking an experienced
Plumbing Estimator
to join our team and play a key role in delivering major hydraulic services packages on Tier 1 construction projects across Melbourne.

About the Role

As our Plumbing Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for large-scale commercial projects valued up to
$50 million
. You will work closely with senior management, project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all bids are detailed, compliant, and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans for hydraulic services packages.
  • Review project documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotations.
  • Analyse risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  • Work collaboratively with the project delivery team to ensure smooth handover of successful bids.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and market rates.

About You

  • Minimum
    5+ years' experience
    in plumbing/hydraulic services estimating.
  • Proven track record pricing projects up to
    $50 million
    .
  • Experience working on Tier 1 or large commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, AS3500, and industry codes.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in civil construction is preferred
