Role: Contracts Administrator / Estimator (Perth, WA)

Key responsibilities:

  • Contract administration - manage commercial documentation, approvals, and claims on time and to standard
  • Tendering & estimating - coordinate tenders, interpret drawings/specs, contribute to accurate pricing submissions
  • Cost book development - build/maintain internal cost books and historical rate libraries for labour, materials, subcontractors
  • Cost control & procurement - monitor budgets, variations, progress claims; assist forecasts; coordinate procurement with site/trades
  • Quality & compliance - ensure delivery to contract, code, and safety requirements; support continuous improvement

Key skills & attributes:

  • 3-7 years' commercial construction experience; proven subcontract administration from award to close-out
  • Estimating capability (take-offs, drawings/specs, realistic budgets)
  • Procurement & compliance know-how (tendering, documentation, financial control, variations, progress claims)
  • Strong communication & organisation; effective with clients, subcontractors, suppliers
  • Knowledge of AS contracts, variations, building codes/regulations
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel); experience with Buildxact, Procore, Bluebeam (or similar)
  • Degree/diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related; or equivalent experience
