RECEPTIONIST - Denture Clinic

Emergency Denture Repairs is a family-owned dental prosthetic practice with 4 locations (North Perth, Maddington, Warwick and Bassendean). We are seeking a hardworking, gregarious receptionist to join our administrative team. We welcome those returning to work & those currently looking for a change.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • General office duties
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, be the face of EDR
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person/s and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Use of computer to deal with patients by phone and in person to make bookings and maintain patient records
  • Taking patient payments through EFTPOS and HICAPS.
  • Light cleaning duties and restocking of treatment rooms.
  • Multi site location - must have own transport to enable travel between surgeries.
  • Must have current Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain it)

About you:

  • Previous experience working in a busy Reception.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with Dental 4 Windows (D4W) is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sense of humour
