We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Engineering & Maintenance team at Penrith site on a permanent basis.  This position will be integral in implementing and managing new project activities across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering some of your key activities will be to:

  • Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects of assigned projects.
  • Implement capital expenditure projects on time and within budget ensuring that equipment and processes are efficient, safe, validatable and environmentally friendly.
  • Provide advice on complex technical matters across the organization.
  • Manage detailed documentation of project activities from conception through to implementation and the life of the equipment/process.
  • Contractor management and Implementation/ management of site EHS requirements
  • Co-ordination of validation activities as well as Preparation/review of validation protocols and reports

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong project management, planning and scheduling experience
  • Cost reporting, forecasting, budget estimating support and input
  • The ability to challenge our current working methods, implement changes and improvements in a highly regulated environment.
  • The ability to manage, plan and organize project activities - so you will have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A high level of communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, across all functions and departments.
  • Understanding of GMP principles,  Biosafety concepts and production process associated with vaccine and pharmaceutical products.
  • Skills in AutoCad and Microsoft project or equivalent.
  • Understanding of validation principles & exposure to validation life cycle
