About Us

Pinnacle Fire Services is a growing specialist in fire protection solutions, committed to delivering reliable and compliant systems for our clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team and play a key role in optimising and maintaining our ICT platforms that support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Administrator, you will:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate ICT projects relating to contract management, scheduling, and mobile workforce systems (SimPRO).
  • Administer and optimise operational platforms including SimPRO, SharePoint/Microsoft 365, , and integration with Xero.
  • Manage system access, permissions, and security groups for all operational platforms (excluding Xero, managed by the Director).
  • Liaise with software vendors (SimPRO, Uptick, , Xero) to resolve issues, implement new features, and improve workflows.
  • Prepare performance and usage reports for management to support informed decision-making.
  • Train and onboard staff on all ICT systems, including induction for returning employees following system upgrades.

Upcoming Projects You'll Contribute To

  • SimPRO optimisation to fully leverage system functionality and improve operational efficiency.
  • Potential migration to Uptick, involving data migration and platform alignment for service teams.
  • Implementation of a construction CRM to centralise client/site data and streamline communication.
  • Paperless transition – replacing manual processes with digital systems.
  • Introduction of new digital tools to enhance office and project management workflows.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in systems administration or ICT support.
  • Experience in managing business platforms such as SimPRO, Microsoft 365, or
  • Strong understanding of access control, system security, and integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to train end users effectively.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with fire protection systems and workflows.
