This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Rostering Coordinator on permanent full-time basis. Come Join our team at St Basil's Homes NSW & ACT, you will be working alongside an incredibly supportive Community team.
About the role:
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date rosters for all staff, ensuring staffing levels meet operational requirements.
- Fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Liaise with Managers, Care Coordinators, and staff to gather and confirm scheduling requirements and preferences.
- Maintain up-to-date records of staff availability, leave requests, and any special scheduling requirements.
- Ensure all rosters comply with relevant labour laws, including working hours, overtime limits, and rest breaks.
- Utilise rostering software to create and maintain schedules efficiently.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on how to access their rosters.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A degree or certification in Business Administration, Health Administration, Management, Logistics or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in rostering, scheduling and workforce planning in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with rostering software and scheduling systems (e.g. The Lookout Way).
- Able to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Understanding of NSW labour laws and regulations, particularly in relation to work hours, overtime and breaks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills to manage complex rosters and shifts.
- Attention to detail to avoid scheduling errors.
- Time Management ? prioritise tasks, especially under tight deadlines.
- Problem solving ? handling last-minute changes or staff absences.
