Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Genovation Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the role

Genovation Ltd is a family-founded, not-for-profit disability service supporting adults with in-home support, and young adults with disabilities to live, learn, and thrive in a safe, caring, and fun environment. Since 2017, we've been delivering programs including the Young Adult Enrichment Program (YAEP), school holiday supports, weekend outings, and one-on-one care.

We are passionate about creating a supportive team culture where participants, families, and staff feel respected and valued.

About the Role

We are seeking a permanent full-time Roster Scheduler to join our team in Oran Park.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (with a 30-minute lunch break), this role is pivotal in ensuring our participants receive quality, consistent support. The position includes an on-call component, with allowances paid under the SCHADS Award.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, managing, and publishing staff rosters in line with participant needs.
  • Coordinating changes to shifts and replacements at short notice.
  • Balancing compliance with SCHADS Award requirements and NDIS funding rules.
  • Communicating roster updates with staff, participants, and families.
  • Providing on-call support on a rotating basis (with allowance).
  • Maintaining accurate records and liaising with the leadership team to ensure smooth program delivery.
About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling, ideally within disability, aged care, or community services - much more complicated than SIL rostering
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and rostering systems (experience with FlowLogic or similar software and Microsoft excel is highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and NDIS framework (or willingness to learn).
  • A positive, values-driven approach, aligned with Genovation's mission.

At Genovation, we are dedicated to supporting our employees and creating an inclusive, flexible, and rewarding workplace. We offer:

  • Competitive salary and annual leave entitlements
  • Opportunities for career development and progression
  • A fun and supportive team environment
  • Salary packaging and other employee benefits

Apply now to join our dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a genuine, family-founded organisation making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
