Transformativ is seeking an experienced
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
with a
telecommunications background
, ideally in
network operations and service management
, to support a major
transformation program at a major Australian Telco
.
This is a
hands-on delivery role
, not an advisory one — suited to a professional who thrives on driving measurable outcomes through process improvement, operational excellence, and service reliability.
If you've led improvement initiatives within network operations, CTO, or service assurance functions, this is an opportunity to apply your expertise to one of Australia's most significant telco programs.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end
process improvement initiatives
across network operations, incident management, and service delivery. - Apply
Lean Six Sigma
methodologies (DMAIC, root cause analysis, value stream mapping) to identify and remove inefficiencies. - Collaborate closely with
network engineering, operations, and service management teams
to enhance service quality and reliability. - Implement
standardisation, governance, and control
mechanisms for sustained operational performance. - Coach and influence stakeholders in adopting a continuous improvement mindset.
- Support program reporting, KPIs, and benefit tracking for transformation outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
(mandatory). - 3–8 years' experience in process improvement or operational excellence.
- Telecommunications industry experience
— ideally within network operations, CTO, or service management. - Demonstrated success in
optimising network or service operations workflows
(change, problem, incident). - Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
- Practical experience managing improvement projects end-to-end (not just advisory).
Highly regarded:
- Experience with
a major Australian Telco - Familiarity with
ITIL, OSS/BSS, or automation initiatives
. - Background in
data-driven improvement
(Power BI, Tableau, Minitab).
