Sydney, New South Wales, Australia M&T Resources Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Overview
We're looking for an experienced
Process Improvement Specialist
who thrives in collaborative environments and takes pride in designing streamlined, intelligent business processes that empower teams to work more effectively.

In this role, you'll work closely with
Business Analysts and key stakeholders
to co-create the organisation's future-state processes. You'll play a central role in shaping efficient frameworks that form the foundation for business requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Analysts to design and document 'to-be' processes that drive clarity and alignment across teams.
  • Build detailed process models and frameworks that support requirement development and solution design.
  • Collaborate continuously as requirements evolve, ensuring processes remain accurate and practical.
  • Foster strong partnerships across business and technology teams, ensuring roles complement one another.

Skills & Experience

  • Deep understanding of
    Lean principles
    and process optimisation.
  • High proficiency in
    BPMN methodology
(Signavio experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex workflows into clear, logical models.
  • Exposure to
    Lean Six Sigma
principles (Black Belt certification is advantageous but not required).

You'll Be Someone Who

  • Is
    adaptable, approachable, and collaborative
    in how you work.
  • Balances
    ownership with humility
, creating space for others to contribute.
  • Is a
    critical thinker
with excellent listening skills and self-awareness.
  • Brings insight and intelligence to every interaction — and values a
    strong cultural fit
    as much as technical expertise.

This role suits someone who enjoys
facilitating clarity from complexity
— an individual who can guide, support, and enable teams to deliver their best work through well-defined processes.
