The Opportunity

Transgrid are currently looking for Senior Business Process Analyst to join our team. The role will contribute to the development and execution of enterprise-wide Process Analysis and Management practices, with a focus on operational excellence, digital enablement, and strategic alignment. This role emphasises BPM as a core capability, supported by foundational business analysis skills. The role leverages industry frameworks such as APQC, Lean, and Six Sigma, and align with utilities sector standards to drive consistent, measurable process excellence. It requires a Senior Business Process Analyst to lead its end-to-end process development and to improve BPM maturity across the business. 

About you

We're seeking a collaborative, technically capable professional who can step straight into the role. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Extensive experience in business process management, including process modelling, analysis, and improvement. 
  • Strong familiarity with APQC PCF, Lean, Six Sigma, and BPMN standards. 
  • Experience working within or supporting utilities sector operations (e.g., energy, water, infrastructure). 
  • Proficiency with BPM tools (e.g., Signavio, ARIS, Nintex) and process performance frameworks. 
  • Solid understanding of foundational business analysis practices (e.g., BABOK). 
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPM, CBAP, APQC) are highly desirable.
