Talent & Compliance Manager (Australia)

The Talent Initiative is seeking a hands-on Talent & Compliance Manager for one of our growing clients. Based in Melbourne or Sydney (hybrid), you'll drive strategic hiring, compliance, and HR capability as we help them scale across Australia and into new global markets.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead senior and specialist recruitment, building in-house talent pipelines.
  • Oversee compliance with Labour Hire Licensing, Fair Work, and employment law.
  • Develop HR policies, contracts, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Mentor an offshore recruiter and support global expansion.
  • Deliver key workforce metrics and represent HR at leadership level.

About You:

  • 8–12+ years in recruitment/HR, with experience in tech consulting, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Proven success scaling teams (50 → 200+), and managing offshore recruiters.
  • Strong compliance and HR policy background.
  • Commercial, values-driven, and a credible leader.
