About the Role

The HSEQ Systems and Assurance Advisor role is a key position, responsible for managing and strengthening the company's management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.

The role will see you:

  • Re-establish and maintain management systems (policies, procedures, forms, and records).
  • Oversee document control, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and version control.
  • Support subcontractor prequalification and monitor compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, tracking findings through to completion.
  • Monitor legislation, standards, and client requirements, ensuring timely updates to systems.
  • Provide compliance and assurance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Support change management across multiple business units and embed practical frameworks.

About You

We're seeking a professional with a background in compliance, assurance, or HSEQ system management, ideally from the infrastructure, energy, or construction sectors.

You will bring:

  • A background and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Experience in managing compliance systems, audits, and assurance activities.
  • Strong skills in document control and management system governance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work across diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach, able to streamline processes and bring clarity where it's most needed.
