Your role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the delivery of timely and efficient maintenance across our assets and facilities. In this vital role, you'll ensure our outsourced maintenance services are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and fully compliant with organisational standards, public sector expectations, and legislative requirements.

We're looking for a committed and community-minded Maintenance Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team working across NSW. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our disability residential properties and other department-owned assets safe, compliant, and operational.

In This Role, You Will

  • Assess and coordinate maintenance requests for a diverse property portfolio, including disability group homes and other service delivery assets.
  • Ensure fire safety compliance and landlord repair obligations are met to the highest standard.
  • Liaise with disability accommodation service providers and tenants to resolve property-related issues quickly and professionally.
  • Work closely with outsourced service providers to deliver thoughtful, responsive, and proactive maintenance services.
  • Contribute to the well-being and safety of our residents and the ongoing delivery of essential community services.

Essential Requirements

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence with ability and willingness to drive throughout NSW. This role may involve overnight stays.
  • Required to hold a current NSW Construction Industry White Card or willingness to obtain one within two months of commencement.

What We're Looking For
In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in maintenance coordination or facilities management, ideally within a complex or community-based environment.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and technology skills – you can juggle multiple tasks and keep things running smoothly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with service providers, tenants, and internal teams.
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety standards and compliance requirements, especially in relation to property maintenance and residential environments.
