Job Overview:

You will be the primary point of contact for the member community at Western Sydney Startup Hub and will coordinate and manage member requests, upkeep, and maintenance of the physical space, while liaising with the broader team. This role will entail elements from member coordination, operational support, event setups and marketing support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Community host for the space, including opening and closing the WSSH space, and supporting members with enquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensuring upkeep, distribution of mail, allocation of access and general maintenance of the physical space.
  • Main point of contact with building Management, Facilities, IT and external contractors in relation to space maintenance, with tasks delegated throughout the team for implementation
  • New member onboarding and member relationship management within the space.
  • Hosting community events, including Community Lunch and Breakfast Club
  • Set up and clean up of events and meeting room space, including moving furniture, set up/coordinating catering and seating and tables, etc. (with support of event casuals as required)
  • Accounts Follow Ups (no prior experience necessary - you can learn on the job)

Additional Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Assist other teams where necessary
  • Support in the creation of organic marketing content, including taking photos of the space and interviewing members for both Spaces and Programs, to support Marketing Lead.
  • Conduct tours of the space for both memberships and event bookings, when required, to support Hub Manager

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

  • Achieving a high level of member satisfaction based on survey results and general feedback from members.
  • Increased engagement of Spacecubed Community Events by members and non members.
