Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Spare Parts Procurement Coordinator to join our operations team based in Parramatta. This role is critical to ensuring the timely sourcing, ordering, and delivery of spare parts to support ongoing maintenance and operational requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure procurement activities align with company standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement of spare parts in line with maintenance schedules and operational demands
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value in terms of cost, quality, and lead time
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages
- Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier data in the procurement system
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal departments to forecast parts requirements and resolve supply issues
- Follow up on outstanding orders and expedite deliveries as necessary
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within an industrial or technical environment
- Strong knowledge of spare parts and supplier management processes
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement platforms
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
