rto join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for ownership of defined customer on-boarding process and implementing process improvements. This role will act as the primary escalation point, offering strategic guidance and support to resolve issues while maintaining operational excellence and adherence to compliance frameworks. As a B2B Metering & Connections Coordinato
r
with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:
- Managing key B2B process of customer on-boarding (including data validation, upload processes, retro transfers, contested sites, tracking of onboarding dashboards, and vacant consumption sites), and transfers (including ads and alts, meter alterations, meter exchanges, tariff changes, temporary isolations, abolishment's and POA relocations)
- Accurate set up of new customer records including tariff checks, product checks, credit checks, customer special requirements (life support, concessions, others) and issuing of correct welcome packs
- Lodgment of meter and site alterations work, both prompted by electricians (seeking customer approval) and prompted by customer (and then seeking out required paperwork)
- Accurate initiation and completion of new & existing customer transfer procedures across various customer segments (mass market & commercial)
- Collation of associated paperwork that may be required for solar customers, including correspondence with channel partners and solar panel installers
- Process Documentation & System Enhancement including maintain and update procedures in line with regulatory, market, and pricing changes.
- Training and Technical knowledge transfer including train staff on B2B systems and technical processes and evaluate readiness for specialised tasks.
- Identify issues and opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Facilitate Process automation of B2B items through Project Management Office (PMO).
You will be successful in the role if you possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer facing role in the energy industry.
- Strong grasp of B2B market and MSATS compliance.
- Proven expertise in a specialist area (e.g. metering, connections, or transactions).
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Analytical and process focused, reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication, negotiation and active listening skills with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders at multiple levels
- Demonstrated experience with CRM software, general IT skills and proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Effective team collaborator, contributing positively within a dynamic and cohesive work environment.
- Ability to pivot in a dynamic and growing business with a strong interest in renewable energy
- Experience within the electricity industry is preferred including understanding of the energy industry value chain
