**About the role**

Origin Zero focuses on partnering with our c. 15,000 large business customers to navigate the transition to a de-carbonised energy system. Origin Zero aims to curate propositions that span categories such as: virtual power plant services, solar & storage, e-mobility, energy efficiency, advisory and carbon management as well as supplying a wide range of energy supply options from increasingly renewable sources.

Reporting to the General Manager Origin Zero, Energy and Commercial, the Energy Products Manager will lead the design, development and iteration of Origin Zero’s commodity products (electricity, gas and carbon) and drive the acceleration of uptake for renewable energy and low carbon solutions. You will build, test and scale digital engagement products that incorporate access to grid renewables with behind the meter solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse and monitor the market, competitive environment and emerging trends as well as engage with customers and the business to define a differentiated customer value proposition.
- Project manage the product development process, from PoC, to MVP to a scaled product - working closely with Future Energy, Pricing, Carbon, Operations and Business Development teams.
- Lead product design, testing and deployment of new and enhanced low carbon commodity products (electricity, LGCs, gas and carbon).
- Work closely with the wholesale and trading team on commodity pricing to optimise total value.

**About you**

With extensive experience in the energy sector (preferably both wholesale and retail markets), you will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Australian energy market, within the B2B environment and the legal/regulatory factors and potential impacts on new products. You will have a track record of product development and product management delivering in an agile environment and specific experience with commercial and industrial customers is highly desirable.
