Business Development Lead

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our growth strategy, building strong relationships with property developers, builders, managers, owners’ corporations, consultants, and service providers. You’ll drive new project wins and takeovers of existing sites by assessing commercial viability and building compelling business cases, negotiating multi-year service contracts with confidence and keeping a close eye on market trends to evolve our value proposition and solutions.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to and execute business sales strategy, managing a collaborative sales pipeline through to the delivery of annual sales and business plans
- Developing business cases as required for potential clients, negotiating the terms of multi-year service contracts, including commercial and legal requirements
- Developing and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients including Property Developers, Property Managers, Owners Corporations, Consultants, Service providers and Key Partners
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to meet the operational objectives
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to drive excellence in business development, stakeholder management, operational and pipeline efficiency.

How you can support the Clean Energy Transition

- Proven experience in developing B2B relationship management and delivering complex solutions within the energy industry
- 1+ year experience desirable within Embedded Energy, Behind the Meter, Centralised Solutions, or Owners Corporation Management
- Strong commercial acumen, with skills in assessing opportunities, negotiating terms, and delivering outcomes
- Proficiency in commercial modelling and legal/commercial negotiations
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinking with an understanding of the commercial and operational impacts of key decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients and partners
- In addition position could also be based remotely in Sydney OR Brisbane
