About the position:

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Securities Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years post-admission experience to join their nationally regarded Corporate team. This role will see you working closely with three high-calibre Partners on a wide array of complex corporate matters.
You will act for a diverse client base—including ASX-listed companies, fund managers, and private equity groups—on major transactions such as:

  • Public and private Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Equity Capital Market transactions (primary and secondary raisings)
  • Fundraising and equity financing
  • Private equity investments and exits
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including shareholder and supply agreements

About the firm:

Join our client's dynamic Sydney-based Corporate team—a recognised leader in the commercial legal sector with national reach. Their collaborative, high-performing environment is ideal for lawyers who are ambitious, team-oriented, and eager to grow their legal expertise across multiple industry sectors including life sciences and resources.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years post-admission experience as a Securities or Corporate Lawyer
  • Proven experience across M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and fundraising
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and corporate compliance
  • Commercial law experience is advantageous
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and advisory skills
