The Team

The Sydney Corporate team is part of a globally integrated transactional practice, known for its high-end M&A and private equity work. The team advises local and international clients on complex corporate deals, including governance, foreign investment, joint ventures, and IPOs.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex matters with global impact. As an Associate in the team, you will:

  • Advise on a mix of M&A, corporate advisory, and commercial transactions
  • Support senior lawyers on cross-border deals and large-scale strategic transactions
  • Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and conduct due diligence
  • Gain exposure to international workstreams through the firm's global platform

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 2–5 years' experience in corporate law, with strong exposure to M&A
  • Excellent technical skills and commercial acumen
  • Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and interest in cross-border work
  • A strong academic record
