About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled qualified Plumber to join our growing team at iFixit Plumbing Services P/L. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services to both residential and commercial customers in the Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas. This is a full-time role.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair a wide range of plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctioning fixtures
  2. Install and maintain new plumbing systems and components, including pipes, valves, taps, toilets, and water heaters
  3. Maintain a high level of safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards
  4. Communicate clearly with customers, provide cost estimates, and ensure a positive customer experience
  5. Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the plumbing team

What we're looking for

  1. Formal plumbing qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Plumbing)
  2. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Valid driver's license
  7. Australian citizenship required
  8. Minimum 1-3 years of plumbing experience required
