Job Description**
People and Culture Branch provides a full range of people management services to support the business objectives of the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions which includes the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, Rottnest Island Authority and Zoological Parks Authority. The Branch also provides a range of services to the Forest Products Commission, and Conservation and Parks Commission of WA.

We are currently seeking a Training and Workforce Development Consultant to join our team.

Training and Workforce Development Consultant:

  • Designs, delivers and coordinates training programs that reflect the training needs of the department and bureau service clients.
  • Provides advice on training design, delivery and reporting to course custodians responsible for formal, non-accredited training programs within the department.
  • Manages corporate training online learning systems, including the departments learning management system and training records system.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and cultivate productive working relationships with stakeholders, team members, colleagues and clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and assessment of training and development opportunities both accredited and non-accredited.
  • Well developed skills in interpreting training needs and providing suitable training and development solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
