This is based in our retail showroom in Springvale. It is a permanent full-time role; 8.30am - 5pm. Your role will be to provide comprehensive customer service, manage inventory and liase with the workshop. Your stakeholders will include colleagues, retail and commercial customers and suppliers.

We are seeking a person with strong technical aptitude (spare parts) and an interest in a customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however job specific training will be provided.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • To assist with product quotations, demonstrations, technical support and counter sales.
  • Normal despatch duties, including picking stock, receiving stock, despatching orders
  • Building relationships and rapport with customers
  • Responding to customer queries via phone, email and within the showroom.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Technical Aptitude
  • working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and MYOB
  • professional and friendly phone manner
  • customer service focus
  • exceptional communication skills (oral and written English)
  • ability to work unsupervised in a hectic environment
  • ability to prioritise and be self-organised
  • ability to learn quickly

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship
  • Proven prior customer service experience

The position will ideally suit a person who enjoys variety in their day, is highly organised and efficient and enjoys dealing with people in general.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
