Primary objective
Responsible for providing system administration, data management and level one support to the Regional Health Services
and NT Health for the – Health Procurement System (HPS). Manage the data validation from vendors and provide advice
and reporting to NT Health from data available within the Health Procurement System.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support in the management of the Health Procurement System.
2. Provide Level 1 and 2 support to users within relation to access and data.
3. Provide ongoing maintenance of all data including User profiles within the Health Procurement System.
4. Liaise with Clients internal and External in relation to their status within the National Product Catalogue, verify and
approve data within the Northern Territory Master Catalogue prior to integration to Health Procurement.
The development and maintenance of reporting requirements within Health Procurement.
Assist with the development and documentation of processes.
- Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being
undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated high level of initiative, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing
demands in a fast-paced environment.
2. Sound understanding of Supply Chain Management principle, including procurement, contracts administration, and
inventory management processes
3. Demonstrated high level data entry skills with an attention to detail and quality checking.
4. Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, and an ability to liaise with and influence people at all levels and
ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
5. A knowledge and understanding of a service delivery environment, client service protocols, and continuous improvement
principles.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with demonstrated ability to manage,
format, and present large datasets and complex documents.
