Keep Moving is a well-established locally owned and operated Northern Territory business, established in 2006. Keep Moving provides assistive technology equipment solutions to hospitals, primary health care clinics, aged care facilities, disability, and rehabilitation sectors, and individuals requiring assistive technology and support.

About You

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in purchasing and logistics or warehousing
  • Computer savvy and able to use a variety of software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great communication & interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client needs

You must be able to work in Australia with no restrictions and resident in the Darwin area.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Create and manage cost-effective purchasing plans to maintain adequate stock levels without overcapitalising inventory or exceeding warehouse space.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality standards, and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to consolidate purchasing requirements and plan procurement activities efficiently.
  • Track orders, follow-up back orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work alongside dedicated warehouse, logistics, and sales teams.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and procurement software.
  • High accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • A proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.
  • Ideally, tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Required Licenses and Compliance Checks

  • A full driver's license
  • Current National Criminal records check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
