The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Estimator to join our team. If you have a background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, and ideally experience in the electrical, generator, or rental industries, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes for standby generator maintenance, as identified by field service teams.
  • Generate quotes for new and updated maintenance agreements.
  • Provide quotes for generator rentals.
  • Quote generator set control system upgrades.
  • Collaborate directly with our Managing Director, along with the service, project scheduling, accounts, and service management teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Support site visits and prepare quotes based on specifications and drawings.
  • Handle urgent repair quotes when needed.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to contribute to the team.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in estimating.
  • Familiarity with generator systems or a solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Experience with estimation or scheduling software (preferably Aroflo, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both clients and team members in a professional, friendly manner.
  • A natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
