Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Technician/Outboard Mechanic located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The Marine Technician/Outboard Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various boats, handling electrical wiring, inspecting and repairing boat motors, and ensuring all equipment is functional and safe. The role requires hands-on experience with boat systems and components and an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly. Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia however we concider visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Boat systems and components
  • Skills in Maintenance & Repair responsibilities
  • Fork Lift Licence a Plus
  • Ability to handle and repair Motors
  • Proficiency in Electrical Wiring tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A relevant certification (or working towards a trade certificate) in outboard repair and maintenance or a related field is preferred
  • Must be a team player and reliable
  • Own transport a must
