As part of our transformation plans and strategic growth through 2026 and beyond, we're looking for a National Account Manager to drive our Pet Specialty channel with key customers — working closely with leading retailers and distributors.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the National Business Manager - Pet Specialty, you will have a mentor that truly believes in supporting and developing your career here at RPF, and who will lead by example as you anchor RPF as the Pet Speciality partner of choice. 

In this role you will manage key accounts within the Pet Specialty channel, driving growth through strong commercial planning, strategic relationship management, and executional excellence.

This is a high-impact, visible role where you'll partner across marketing, category, finance, and supply chain to deliver results that elevate our brands and bring fresher, better pet nutrition to Australian households.

You'll join a small but mighty team of passionate, commercially savvy and innovative sales leaders who are redefining what's possible in pet care retail.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with Impact: Manage key retailer and distribution partners within the Pet Specialty channel to deliver outstanding commercial results for RPF and our valued customers. Drive execution excellence and help shape the strategic direction of this key growth area.
  • Drive Sustainable Growth: Use data-driven insights to develop and implement effective commercial strategies, ensuring strong forecasting accuracy and responsible trade spend management that deliver profitable outcomes.
  • Activate and Elevate: Lead customer initiatives and category activations that strengthen brand visibility, enhance shopper engagement, and drive retailer success.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, category management, operations, and supply chain to bring innovation to life—ensuring new products and initiatives are executed seamlessly in market.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with retail partners. Act as a strategic advisor to help drive mutual growth and reinforce our position as a category leader.
  • Develop and Grow: Expand your commercial and leadership capabilities by learning from cross-functional experts, gaining exposure across multiple channels, and building a strong foundation for future career growth.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in National Account Management - ideally within Pet Specialty retail and or wholesale.
  • Strong understanding of specialty retail environments.
  • Commercially astute and data-driven, with a keen eye for numbers, detail, and growth opportunities.
  • A natural influencer and relationship builder — confident negotiating, presenting, and collaborating across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong executional discipline and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passion for pets and the pet nutrition category — you'll genuinely believe in the power of what we do
