National Accounts Manager Pharmacy

What will you be doing?

  • Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives to achieve sales targets within the pharmacy channel.
  • Manage key wholesalers including Category teams, replenishment teams, forecasting and educational program teams.
  • Manage Key Accounts. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in major pharmacy chains.
  • Negotiate Co-op Contracts. Lead negotiations for pricing, promotions, and terms of agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support of the forecasting process on a monthly basis by providing insights and customer trends
  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to develop integrated strategies and initiatives that support sales growth and enhance customer engagement within designated banner groups.
  • Responsibility for Wesfarmers Banners - Priceline Pharmacy, Instant Scripts, Pharmacy 4 Less, API Club Premium; HealthlyLife, United, Cincotta, ChemistWorks  and Green Cross Health NZ.
  • Analysis of sales data including IQVIA, Scan and ex-factory to deliver qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Development and presentation of sales and category reviews including new line presentations.
  • Ensuring all customer e-commerce and web pages are kept up to date with correct product images and details of SN products
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop shelf layouts for presentation to accounts.
  • Work within the supply team structure to evolve wholesaler development processes & to support implementation of day-to-day actions (eg. portfolio & stock management, rebate approval processes)

What will you need to be successful?

  • Tertiary Qualification - Business, Arts, Management or related Field would be well regarded
  • Full Australian drivers license
  • Minimum 3-5 years Pharmacy Channel experience in a National Accounts or Business manager role  
  • Location – Sydney/Melbourne or Brisbane
  • Travel requirements – around 20% domestic travel and 5% international travel to New Zealand.
