Drive Wolfbrook's property management expansion into Australia.

We're looking for a commercially astute Business Development & Acquisition Manager to lead our Melbourne entry and future interstate growth. This role will focus on sourcing acquisition opportunities, building partnerships, and securing portfolio growth, while representing Wolfbrook in a new market.

We manage a growing portfolio of residential assets across New Zealand, with a focus on long-term performance, tenant satisfaction, and investor value. As we scale, we are expanding our property management footprint into Australia seeking partnerships, acquisitions, and portfolio growth opportunities.

Role Overview

Business Development & Acquisition Manager Australia will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing growth opportunities for Wolfbrook Property Management in Melbourne at first then expanding interstate.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Opportunity Identification

  • Lead the identification of new markets and jurisdictions aligned with Wolfbrook's growth strategy.
  • Research and qualify opportunities for acquisition of property management businesses or portfolios offshore.

M&A & Strategic Partnerships

  • Source, assess, and negotiate acquisition opportunities of property management businesses or rent rolls in target markets.
  • Lead due diligence processes and support integration planning in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.
  • Establish joint ventures, referral networks, or strategic partnerships to expand Wolfbrook's reach and capability.

Client Onboarding & Portfolio Growth

  • Secure property management mandates from offshore landlords, syndicates, or institutional investors with NZ or Australian property exposure.
  • Manage onboarding of new clients and portfolios to ensure a smooth transition into the Wolfbrook platform.

Commercial & Strategic Input

  • Provide input into Australian expansion planning, pricing strategies, and service offering development.
  • Track market trends and regulatory developments relevant to offshore property management.
  • Report regularly on acquisition pipeline, partnership activity, and revenue growth metrics.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 7+ years' experience in property management, real estate business development, or commercial expansion roles.
  • Proven track record of growing portfolios through acquisition, partnerships, or international investor relationships.
  • Understanding of Australian real estate markets, offshore landlord needs, and cross-border ownership structures.
  • Experience in due diligence, and commercial negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal, commercial, and project management skills.
