Business Coach

We offer tailored coaching services to entrepreneurs, business owners, across a variety of industries that are ready for growth.  From scaling a family business, expanding globally, or looking to gain the maximum amount for the sale of their business, our clients are committed to developing both professionally and personally in a continuous journey of success and fulfillment.

We're looking to add multiple coaching roles across Australia.  We're selecting applicant suitability over geography so if you're able to meet the below pre-requisites we're happy for the right individuals to work remotely.

OUR PREREQUISITES

1. Business Acumen & Experience.  Preferably you have run your own business and experienced the trials and tribulations of trying to grow a business.  Alternatively you have managed your own P&L as part of a larger business - either way you have had your hands on the steering wheel, been exposed to the problems and challenges faced by a business owner.  Experienced the highs and lows of being responsible for the growth of a business and have lived the challenges of a business owner.
2. You can relate to a small business owner and have lived the practical realities, the emotional stakes, and the constant balancing act they face.  You don't pass judgement, but you relate and respect the courage it takes to pursue hopes and dreams and the resilience needed to keep going through setbacks, and the pride small business owners feel in creating jobs, serving customers, and contributing to their family & community.
3. This role is about the customer, not you  This is the client's journey and whilst you have had your own personal success and can prove your track record, in this chapter of your career you are willing to park your ego at the door and do whatever it takes to help your clients.  Whilst we recognize and reward high performance, this is unlocked by how you support your clients journey and the results you get for them.
4. You're coachable  Despite your success, you're passionate about the pursuit of continuous improvement, value feedback and are open to becoming a better version of yourself both professionally and personally.
5. You can travel. This role does include travel requirements.  On average you will travel 12-15 times per year, about once a month to complete workshops with new clients and to team meetings and events on the Sunshine Coast.  Each trip is usually a few days during the week and we try to avoid weekend disruptions, although these are required a handful of times per year around our various client events.  In your first year you will also need to spend around 6-8 weeks (not consecutively) in our head office on the Sunshine Coast as part of your onboarding.

This is a salary based role with an excellent incentive program.

THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Professional to join our Coaching team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business coaching, business ownership and or business leadership, a deep understanding of business operations, and exceptional interpersonal skills. As a Business Coach, you will work closely with clients to help them define their goals, develop strategies, and overcome challenges to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Assist clients in setting clear, achievable goals and developing actionable plans to reach them.
• Provide guidance and expertise in areas such as leadership, management, marketing, sales, and operations.
• Identify challenges and obstacles clients face and offer practical solutions.
• Hold clients accountable for their progress and provide regular feedback and support.
• Share personal experiences and insights to mentor clients through various business scenarios.
• Analyse business performance metrics and help clients implement improvement strategies.
• Offer motivational support and encouragement to keep clients focused and committed.
• Connect clients with valuable resources, contacts, and networking opportunities.
• Help clients balance their personal and professional lives to enhance overall performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a business coach, business owner and or business leader.
• Strong understanding of business principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• High level of empathy, motivation, and dedication to client success.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Certification in business coaching or a related field is a plus.

• Be fully computer literate, and having a knowledge of Apple Mac will be an advantage but not essential.
• Non-smoker.
• Willingness to "go the extra mile", and not be a "clock watcher".
• Willing to travel to client locations and events.
• Be passionate about working in a place which makes a difference to people's lives.
