With a focus on exceptional produce, seasonal menus, and an elevated yet relaxed dining experience, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the team.
As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, contemporary dishes. You'll have the chance to contribute to menu development, work closely with regional producers, and bring your skills to a dynamic food & wine environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the management of daily kitchen operations
- Lead and motivate the team in the Head Chef's absence
- Contribute to menu design and innovation with seasonal, local produce
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen administration
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen
- Passionate about local produce and modern Australian cuisine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organised, professional, and committed to excellence
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
