**__Thoroughbred Farm - Assistant Manager(s)**

$70k-$100k package.

An opportunity to further distinguish yourself within the thoroughbred industry. Work closely with and support the owners and farm manager in all aspects of the operation. A very well presented two-bedroom cottage can be included in the package.

**__Essential Skills**:
We seek a skilled high-performing assistant manager (or couple) to help run a thoroughbred pre-training and spelling facility on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. You must have extensive experience working with thoroughbreds to be considered. You will ideally bewell-known and highly regarded amoung thoroughbred trainers in South East Queensland.

**__You must**:
Competently and efficiently oversee all aspects of the farm and business
Treat the business like your own and significantly contribute to its growth
Have relevant experience, contacts and a history of performance within the industry
Have the ability to deliver solutions in all business situations
Be able to run multiple tasks concurrently
Be equally comfortable and willing behind a keyboard or a shovel
Identify and expand opportunities within the business
Be willing, adaptable, capable and accountable
Harmonise with the owners, manager, and all stake holders
Live or be willing to relocate locally
Be available to start in the very near term

**__Site equipped for**:
Pretraining, Spelling, Breaking, Yearling Prep, Foaling, Chicken Farming.

Current facilities include:
44 stables (ability to expand to 140+ stables)
54 spelling paddocks (ability to expand to ~80 paddocks)
4 sheds ~1,400sqm
Walker, swim, treadmill, arena.
