Practera is seeking a Business Development & Industry Solutions Lead—a role made for energetic connectors who thrive on variety, agility, and turning challenges into opportunities. Practera is a small, innovative business with a virtual office: no two days are ever the same, and successful candidates are comfortable making new connections, building industry partnerships, and getting out and about to meet clients and stakeholders.

Practera is an Education Technology platform powering experiential learning and employability programs across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Our agile team works in a hybrid environment, supporting universities, employers, and government partners to create real-world project opportunities for learners at scale.
The Role
The Business Development & Industry Solutions Lead drives strategic industry engagement, formal partnerships, and the recruitment of new project hosts—particularly large corporates and professional networks. The role combines new business development, nurturing existing relationships, and working cross-functionally to scale experiential learning opportunities via our platform. Day-to-day duties range from building pipeline and negotiating partnerships, to running pilot projects and collaborating on process automation initiatives for greater impact and efficiency.
