Position summary

The position heads up our focus on the residential building sector in the VIC/TAS/SA region and currently has one direct report.

The position will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Working with builders, architects and building designers to establish project specifications.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets in the residential building sector.
  • Developing and supporting new and existing channel/distribution partners, such as Bowens and Mitre 10.
  • Writing quotes and negotiating deals and supply contracts.
  • Growing customer base.
  • Providing technical advice to customers.
  • Achieving growth by hitting sales targets.
  • Maintenance of CRM database.
  • Development and delivery of professional presentations and meetings.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated successful sales experience in the residential building industry. Experience with insulation, ventilation, condensation management products, facades, roofing and cladding is highly regarded.
  • Experience selling through channel/distribution partners, such as Mitre 10 and Bowens.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to converse at all levels.
  • Computer skills – Intermediate level with Windows, Office 365, Excel, Word, PP, CRM etc.
  • Experience using construction data bases - Estimate One, Cordell, BCI, advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of construction; builders, trades/contractors, architects etc.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans.
  • Ability and willingness to make outbound calls to builders/contractors/architects etc.
