Everything from outings to Fremantle, or the zoo, to movement classes or cooking classes or just a cuppa with a friend. You will assist our clients to lead a rich and fulfilling life with social and community engagement.

Your role will be to create an active social calendar, encourage client participation and show our clients a good time. Your ultimate goal is to bring a smile to the faces of the people who put their trust in us.

You will be working with for a not-for-profit that is down to Earth and wants only the best for our clients. We are growing in the community and we would like you to grow with us.

About Us

We are a niche Aged Care provider conveniently located in Burswood. We have a rich +30-year history of assisting seniors in leading fulfilling lives free from social isolation. We pride ourselves on our personalised and a caring approach to In-home care focusing on Wellness, Reablement and Happy Faces.

Responsibilities of the role

Craft and engineer ideas for a Social Events calendar 

Providing logistical solutions for actualisation of the social calendar 

Encouraging client participation in events that are organized  

Creating a sense of excitement and community spirit within the client base Taking full ownership over the process including logistical organisation and client queries.  

Being resourceful with community facilities and services to create the best experience for our clients 

Being present at all social activity events and creating a welcoming, warm and safe environment for all clients 

Having flexibility in working hours as the social activities calendar dictates.  

Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills.  Ability to professionally represent our brand and our services at meetings and events.

Criteria

Desirable qualifications include:

Experience in aged or community care  

Certificate or equivalent education in event management and/ or the aged care sector 

Senior First Aid Certificate
