About the role
The Industrial Print Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and integration of Konica Minolta's Industrial Print solutions. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to identify customer needs, design tailored print solutions and deliver compelling value propositions. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Industrial Print Sales Specialist collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to solution implementation, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and print production environments.
- Identify and engage with prospective and existing customers to uncover Industrial Print opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute strategic account plans within targeted verticals.
- Design and present tailored Industrial Print solutions that align with customer workflows and production requirements.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs with detailed, solution-oriented proposals.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Industrial Print technologies, including inkjet, toner-based systems, and workflow automation.
- Liaise with Marketing to develop solution offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the print sector.
- Support post-sales implementation and ensure customer satisfaction through effective handover and collaboration with delivery teams.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in solution consulting or technical sales within the Industrial Print or related industry.
- Strong understanding of production print environments, including prepress, colour management, and finishing workflows.
- Knowledge of workflow automation, variable data printing, and digital front-end systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-based print management solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to design and present complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
