
Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Sales leader to spearhead our staff augmentation and IT consulting services in the Australia and New Zealand region. In this strategic sales role, you will unlock opportunities with enterprise clients, scale long-term partnerships, and help businesses gain rapid access to top-tier IT talent and project teams.
This is a high-growth role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, relationship-driven environments and understands the value of flexible, scalable workforce solutions in today's digital economy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Hunting & Account Growth:
Identify, target, and secure new enterprise and mid-market clients across key sectors (e.g., BFSI, Telco, HealthTech, Government, Manufacturing).
Staff Augmentation Focus:
Sell IT staffing solutions including contract, contract-to-hire, and dedicated team models for skills such as software engineering, cloud, DevOps, data, and cybersecurity.
Client Partnership:
Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients define workforce strategy, project resourcing plans, and capability scaling through onshore/offshore/hybrid models.
Solution Collaboration:
Work closely with internal recruitment, delivery, and practice teams to develop tailored talent solutions that meet client needs.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Own and manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closure—using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of staffing trends, digital skill demand shifts, compliance requirements, and regional nuances specific to ANZ.
Brand Representation:
Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and virtual engagements to strengthen brand presence and client engagement.
We're Looking For:
10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in IT staff augmentation, consulting services, or workforce solutions, preferably within ANZ.
A deep understanding of ANZ market dynamics, including hiring practices, compliance and cultural expectations.
Strong network of IT decision-makers, procurement leads, and HR/talent stakeholders in enterprise and mid-size firms.
Proven ability to close large deals, build strategic partnerships, and manage high-value accounts.
Experience in working with global delivery models (onshore/offshore/hybrid).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Self-starter with a solutions mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field is a plus.
Familiarity with tech domains such as software development, cloud engineering, data science, or cybersecurity.
Experience selling into manufacturing business and regulated industries (banking, government, healthcare, etc.).
Previous experience in a rapidly scaling IT staffing or consulting firm.
