Summary:
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating construction projects from start to completion. They develop project plans and budgets, manage project progress, coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, ensure compliance with building codes and permits, and build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities and budgets that align with project goals
- Select subcontractors and establish project team with other construction professionals
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with building codes and permits
- Review and approve construction project designs and plans
- Ensure construction work is carried out within budget, timelines, and quality standards
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with work, health and safety regulations
- Manage and lead project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to all staff involved in the project
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously

We're looking for someone who:
- Certificate IV in Project Management (or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines
- Proficient in project management software and tools (Aconex and Primavera)
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS regulations
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Class C Drivers Licence (P1, P2, or full unrestricted licence)
