About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join the Feral Pig and Pest Project (FPPP) management team, supporting the delivery of the $14 million state-wide project.

This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and high-performing team within the Programs and Partnerships Unit, gain exposure to a large state-wide pest animal management project and contribute to meaningful outcomes for LLS and our stakeholders.

You will work closely with the FPPP Project Manager and the NSW Feral Pig Coordinator, providing essential project management support.

Your responsibilities will be varied and dynamic, including:

  • Supporting the delivery of the project,

  • Assisting with project reporting and monitoring.

  • Collating and analysing data to support decision-making.

  • Participating in stakeholder briefing and information sessions.

  • Contributing to key messaging for communications materials and executive/ministerial briefings.

  • Supporting evaluation activities and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, results driven team player, that's comfortable working in geographically dispersed teams with limited supervision.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A collaborative working style and ability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • A sound understanding of pest animal management frameworks in NSW.
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
