We're looking for an experienced, dynamic
Senior
Payroll Manager
to take the reins of our payroll operations and lead our function for future success. This is more than just managing pay runs, it's about uplifting capability, transforming systems, streamlining processes, and introduces innovation and productivity wins to deliver an exceptional service across Tabcorp.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the payroll function and ensure every pay run is accurate, compliant, and on time for all Tabcorp employees.
  • Lead the program of transformation, drive system upgrades, process improvements, and automation to elevate payroll delivery.
  • Champion compliance - stay ahead of legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements, ensuring we're always audit-ready.
  • Build a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and developing payroll professionals to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Drive continuous improvement, document processes, enhance compliance controls, and lead key recommendations from recent reviews.
  • Own the tech, govern payroll system changes, manage time & attendance integrations, and collaborate with Systems to optimise tools.
  • Ensure financial integrity and support payroll reconciliations with Finance and maintain data accuracy across platforms.

  • 10+ year's end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge of EBA and MA environments.
  • Understanding of employment-related laws, Fair Work regulations and financial statutory requirements.
