We're on the lookout for an experienced
Payroll Manager
for a contract role, working closely with both Payroll and HR teams to support a payroll simplification initiative and an upcoming HRIS and payroll system upgrade.

Key priorities in the role:

  • Supporting the current Payroll Manager with BAU operations.
  • Leading and contributing to business-critical projects across compliance, HRIS, and payroll systems.
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and reporting integrity remains at the highest standard.
  • Assisting with the rebuild and uplift of the Payroll Team.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience managing large and complex payroll functions, ideally in high-volume environments with multiple EBAs and Awards.
  • Strong project experience — someone who thrives juggling multiple priorities and guiding teams through transformation.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a passion for continuous improvement.

Salary up to $160K + Super.
