About the role

With our continued development and success, we are excited to welcome a new Receptionist to our dynamic team. This role is the hub of our office, first point of contact, handling incoming calls and client interactions with poise and efficiency. The role also includes a variety of general administrative duties, offering a fantastic foundation for a long-term career.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet people entering the building, answer any questions, provide directions, and alert staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
  • Answer large volume of phone calls, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system
  • Manage the building log of who is entering and exiting the building
  • Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Double check and process orders before productions
  • Handle filing and data entry as requested
  • Ensuring the conference room is clean and ready for guests
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Proven excellent communication skills - experience in customer service advantageous
  • High level of literacy and verbal skills
  • Superior writing and communications skills
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Previous office/administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Confident computer skills - comfortable with learning new software
  • Experience being a team player collaborating across departments
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures and work well under directions
