Civilwise are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering projects from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and growing team with a strong pipeline of exciting work.

Although Civilwise is headquartered in Sydney, our base of operations is regional NSW, predominately in the Hawkesbury / Hunter regions and the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

The projects Civilwise undertake include a range of earthworks, pavement, concrete, stormwater and utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site based role
  • Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including proposals, contracts, design drawings, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, changes, and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams and junior staff.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • Strong leadership and clear communication qualities
  • High level of organisational and planning skills
  • Customer service and team-oriented ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Experience in managing teams, subcontractors and supply-chain
  • Proven experience on civil construction projects with previous experience on Ausgrid, Local Government or TFNSW projects highly regarded
  • Available to start immediately
  • Australian Driving Licence
  • Valid Australian work rights required
