As the Project Controller, you will be central to managing project finances and schedules. You will provide accurate reporting, drive accountability, and partner with stakeholders to ensure success at both the project and business level.What you will do:

  • Manage accurate financial records.
  • Perform monthly and annual financial reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting, including project based financial reporting.
  • Assist with Project Scheduling activities.
  • Deliver accurate, timely and responsive administrative support with respect to financial management of the business.
  • Assist with reporting for Projects together with other financial reporting as may be required.
  • Support improvements of internal financial controls, systems, and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity.

What You'll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, project management or related field
  • Minimum five years of experience as a Project Controller, Scheduler or  Finance Officer.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning or Accounting software.
  • Experience and knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, practices and procedures.
  • Experience and knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices and procedures.
  • Experience in performing monthly, quarterly and annual Project financial reporting activities.
  • Experience in Defence financial reporting specific to Australian Industry Content (AIC) is preferred.
  • Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 products suite with extensive knowledge and skills in Excel.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (desirable).

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
